Homemade Peanut Butter

When it comes to weight loss and dieting, it’s important to make sure you are eating natural foods without any added sugars. And when it comes to peanut butter you definitely do not want hydrogenated oil. Hydrogenated oils are oils that are often healthy in their natural state, but are quickly turned into poisons through the manufacturing and processing they undergo. (The science behind it gets really complicated so I’ll just leave it at that!)

When shopping for nut butters look for those labeled “natural.” These should only have one ingredient listed; the nut itself. They also should have only 1 gram of sugar or less.

Or if you’re like me and you don’t always trust the labels you can make your own homemade peanut butter! All you need is peanuts(or nuts of your choice), a food processor and a jar!
